Netzo Board
The board is responsible for managing the association and meets as needed. Decisions are made by majority vote, with the chairperson having the deciding vote in case of a tie. Board members are always accountable to the board for their actions, and both the board as a whole and its individual members must report to the General Members’ Meeting (ALV) regarding their policies.
Chairman
The chairperson leads the association, presides over meetings, represents the association externally, and ensures compliance with its rules. They can close discussions in meetings, decide on voting methods, and maintain order. The chairperson co-signs official documents and can access all board materials. In their absence, another board member steps in, and the chairperson can delegate tasks to other board members with the board’s agreement.
Secretary
The secretary manages the association’s correspondence, keeps records of meetings, maintains member information, and handles general administration except for tasks of the treasurer or match secretary. They are responsible for circulating announcements, providing members with key documents, and managing team registrations for competitions. The secretary also communicates with competition leaders about changes and team availability. In their absence, another board member takes over, and tasks can be delegated to others with board approval.
Treasurer
The treasurer manages the association’s finances, collecting fees and donations, making payments, and preparing budgets and financial reports for the General Members’ Meeting. They must provide financial records to the audit committee annually and keep relevant documents for at least five years. In the treasurer’s absence, another board member takes over, and tasks can be delegated to other board members with board approval.
Head of the Technical Committee
The Head of the Technical Committee oversees the technical committee, with detailed responsibilities outlined in manuals available on the association’s website. If the HTC is absent, another board member takes over, and tasks can be delegated to other board members with the board’s approval.
Public Relation manager
The Public Relations board member is in charge of recruiting new members, managing sponsor relationships, coordinating promotional material creation, and liaising with the website administrator. They also lead the PR committee.
Social Media manager
The Social Media Manager oversees the association’s presence on social media platforms, creating and scheduling content to promote events, matches, and activities. They engage with the community by responding to interactions and growing the association’s online following. Working closely with other committees, they ensure that social media strategies align with overall promotional efforts. Additionally, the manager monitors social media performance and regularly reports to the board with suggestions for improving visibility and engagement.
